Our Counselors

Cirene Marquez

Cirene is a Pastoral Counselor at Breath of Life Foundation. Cirene has a heart for walking alongside others and leading them to hope as they seek to find their identity, purpose, and calling in life. Through Pastoral Counseling and the leading of the Holy Spirit, she seeks to help others heal in mind, body, and spirit, from past and present hurts and disappointments, guiding them to develop new perspectives and healthy thought patterns that align and are rooted in Biblical truths.

Cirene is specifically passionate about walking alongside women in their transition into motherhood, marriage, education, and careers. Cirene received a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Azusa Pacific Seminary, which further developed her heart for discipleship, mentorship, and supporting leadership to thrive in their areas of ministry and as individuals. Cirene also earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family and seeks to help couples and families find healing and restoration as they break unhealthy cycles and create a new future for the generations to come.

Cirene is a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and Prepare Enrich (Building Strong Marriages) facilitator.
